Strand 1: What is a Whole Systems Approach?
An introduction to whole systems thinking in public health
About This Strand
This strand introduces the concept of a whole systems approach (WSA) — what it is, where it comes from, and why traditional linear approaches to public health challenges are insufficient. By the end of this strand you should have a clear conceptual foundation for the thinking that underpins the rest of the course.
