Strand 4: Evidence for a Whole Systems Approach to Obesity
Applying whole systems thinking to healthy weight and obesity
About This Strand
This strand applies the whole systems approach to one of public health’s most complex and persistent challenges: obesity and healthy weight. We examine how the causes and consequences of obesity are deeply interconnected, and how a WSA can help us design more effective, sustainable interventions.
This contains two short presentations making two sections each of which have been divided into four short segments of approximately five minutes each. Each segment ends with a knowledge check to consolidate your understanding.
